Roosevelt School, home of over 350 Roosevelt Tigers, opened their doors in 1926, and the interior has been extensively remodeled. The Roosevelt attendance area is large, not only encompassing the area around the school, but extending the east side of Fourth Avenue and busing students in from Highway 95.

A Message from Our Principal

Dear Parents or Guardians,

My staff and I would like to welcome you and your child to our beautiful and amazing school!

Our commitment each year is to educate your child, and we will work diligently side by side with you to help your child learn and grow academically, socially, and emotionally. 

Educating a child takes all of us working together, so please make sure you emphasize the importance of attending school each and every day, rested and ready to learn. 

We hope you will be an active partner with us, whether you choose to join our Parent-Teacher Organization, volunteer at our school, or take part in special activities or events. We welcome and encourage your partnership in our school.

I will also like to encourage you to stay in touch with your child’s teacher and with me if you have any questions during the school year. I know we can make this a great school year if we commit on working together for the betterment of our students.
