    21st Century Program

Roosevelt School is extremely fortunate to be one of the grant recipients for such a wonderful program from the Arizona State Department of Education to bring back the before and after school program to our school for our children, first through fifth grade, free of charge; this is a five-year grant. Please read the welcome letter for additional information.

    Reading First Grant

We are happy to be a Reading First Grant recipient! Extra funding from the government allows us to pay for additional resources to help your child become a better reader. We want all students to be successful readers, and this Reading First grant will help us make that happen.

We are also a 21st Century Grant recipient. This program allows us to be able to offer extended-day kindergarten, which will give our young students a head start in learning core academic subjects such as reading and math. It also provides the funds for us to work with the YMCA in providing after-school programs for approximately 150 of our students.
