YMCA Program

This is the fifth year of our 21st Century Learning Community Grant. Extended Day began on August 31, 2009. We have several classes that will involve math, reading, science, and homework clubs. Students will attend classes from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Due to limited funds this year, Roosevelt will not be providing busing, so students involved with our program must be able to walk home, or a parent will have to pick them up. Roosevelt will still be using the YMCA during the second hour of the program. We will give students snacks on the days of the program.

Mrs. Claudia Hernandez is the Site Facilitator for T.I.M.E. (the extended day program).
