Extended Day Kindergarten

Our 21st Century Learning Grant is in full swing. Mrs. Claudia Hernandez is again our site facilitator. She coordinates the before and after school program, which includes academics and fitness. Some of the classes are Folklorico Dancing, Math Wizards, Reading Round-Up, World Explorers, Writing, Homework, Science, Computers, and the YMCA teaches about soccer, softball, and other sports.

This program is free to all Roosevelt students. Each student attends an academic program in the morning and a fitness class in the afternoon. Students also receive a snack prior to their afternoon class.
